Ughbot kill

Flu is over. Feeling much better these days. Just really hungover is all.

An ad I shot a while ago is now online here with a write up about it in the times here.

Meh, my brains not processing much else right now. So here’s a way more awesome ad campaign with a digital Bruce Lee using nunchucks to kick ass at ping pong and light matches in the air. The man is so awesome.

Dead Chris Day

My desk is currently a graveyard of snot covered tissues and empty chicken soup bowls and cups. I love the fucking flu.

Snot King

Am sick. Brain isn’t functioning well today either. Was gonna do a nice witty post about this and that and how being sick sucks like a hooker at a gangbang, but right now all I’ve got is this ridiculous throbbing in my skull and my nose is all stuffy and I’m sure there’s a reservoir of snot behind it. Awesome imagery eh? I’m going back to bed.

People I Know Are Having An Audition…

Hamilton Auditions

Saturday 29th November
New Place theatre (at Waikato Uni)

Auckland Auditions

Saturday 6th Dec
2/29 Hackett St, Herne Bay

If you are interested let us know, also pass this along to anyone else you know who might be keen!

That’s edited from an email, I’m not posting up a list of characters here, but if your interested you can send marama a email at marama[dot]killen[at]gmail[dot]com or myself and can let you know more on it.

Also…

Chasing Time Productions are holding open auditions for They no longer sleep alone, a short feature to begin production in early January over a 10 day shooting period. We are seeking one male and two female leads aged between 20 – 30yrs.

I think its an open audition for this on Saturday, 6th December at the Hamilton Boys High School music dept between 1:30pm – 4pm. More info can be found at the chasing times website.

Why Is Nathan Fillion So Awesome?

As opposed to Fin’s rather cruel post, this PG Porn video is awesome. I mean, for one, it’s got Nathan Fillion and ain’t nothing he does is not worth watching… I’m so tired I can’t tell if that last sentence means what I meant it to mean. Christ I need sleep. Watch the goddamn video!

Well Hungover…

Can’t post anything properly today. Drank too much last night.

A two faced kitten was born in Australia and I immediately thought of Transmetropolitan. Should really send the link to Warren Ellis, reckon he’d dig it.

There’s a listing of 40 Exquisite Independent Film Posters and its a pretty good selection. Definitely a couple that I’d have on my list. There’s also an ever changing list of 100 Greatest Movie Posters which is also pretty neat-o.

A great New Scientist write up of why the universe most likely is teaming with extra-terrestrial life here.

The Internet Hates You

Forgot to mention the second Hamilton screening of It Came From the Swamp was on last night. There will be an Auckland screening tonight at the Wine Cellar, so if anyone isn’t up to anything and in the area up there, head on over and check out some quality films.

Alternatively you can check out this new Microsoft Zune ad. We don’t have Zunes in New Zealand and its pretty doubtful we ever will, but that doesn’t matter. Just watch this video and be amazed… hehehe.

Mobile Stud Unit 1993-2008

Last night MSU, Hamilton’s greatest band ever, played their last gig ever and it was great. So great I woke up with a ringing in my ears that even now, still hasn’t gone away. I also woke up with a retarded number of photos on on my camera that has now been uploaded to my facebook, viewable here and here (cause one album just wasn’t enough). The photos also helped me remember other things that happened last night, including getting kneed in the balls and getting wacked in the head and twisting my glasses. Both by girls. Both quite, quite painful. What I can’t quite remember is if I actually had it coming… hrmmmm…

Anyway, it was the end of an era and the end of Mobile Stud Unit and it was great to see so many familiar faces there to party and help sending them off. Shine on you crazy diamonds. Shine on. Me and my ever sore balls salute you.
