3 Things: tumblrs

Realising that the majority of recent posts are mostly video related; here are some tumblr sites for something different.

At least I’m starting to ‘annotate’ some of this stuff too.

3 Things: Colossal

Was wanting to post one or two of these, but honestly, I just want to post everything that makes up the website that is Colossal.

Started up just over two years ago, this blog has been consistent from the get go in finding and posting some of the most inspiring and creative things happening out there and on the internet and my go to guilt trip for not being active enough.

Highly recommend bookmarking the shit out of it.

3 Things: re-cuts

On a bit of an editing thing lately and what better way to exhibit this, than three video demonstrations of how the process can drastically alter the original intention of a work.

A classic re-edit of a classic (and a prime example of why I almost never bother to watch trailers).

And finally, something a bit more cheeky…

3 Things: Super-Cuts

And finally, though turn your sound down at the end of it…

3 Things: Twisted Shorts

This time bring you three mildly disturbing (but in many ways brilliant) short films.

3 Things: Animated Shorts

In keeping with the ‘oh hey, I can keep within a theme’ theme of these posts, here’s three animated shorts of varying styles and storytelling methods (but chosen mostly because they’re animated).

3 Things: Stop-Motion Shorts

Part of this weekend is dedicated to clearing out and organising the nightmare datascape that is my computer/hard drives/bookmarks; some of these are for my own personal references, but a lot it seems were intended for posting here. So much so actually, I can roughly theme together some of these things. So, until I run out, or find a more interesting way to post these, here are some stop-motion shorts of late…
